Gymnastics: Sunday Dare Assures Uche Eke Of Support Ahead Of Olympics By Uche Dozie Nigeria Minister for youth and Sport Development, Sunday Dare has assured support to Uche Eke, Nigerian first Olympics Games gymnast, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Dare made the promise during the athlete's call at the Minister's office in Abuja on Monday. The minister who has shown tremendous support towards all Nigerian athletes who have qualified for the upcoming Olympics says Uche will not be treated otherwise. "We are taking over your preparations for the Olympics to ensure podium success" Dare said Uche Eke, 23-year-old US-based graduate qualified for Tokyo after winning bronze medal all-around title at the Continental Championships in Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics in Cairo Egypt. He became the first Nigerian gymnast to compete at the Tokyo Olympic games holding this year.
