Handball: Division One League To Hold In Benin

Sampson Adedeji Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) under Samuel Ocheho has confirmed Benin City Edo State as the host of this year's National Division One league, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The federation settled for Benin City after the Edo State government took up the sponsorship of the competition. The executive of the federation held a virtual meeting and also consulted with the Edo State handball association on the event. 20 males and 10 females teams are expected to participate in the Division One League to secure a promotional championship to the top flight Handball Premier League. February 26th to March 6th, 2022 was announced as the date for the competition.
