Handball Nations Cup: Nigeria In Group B With Morocco, Angola, Kenya By BSN Sports Handball Nations Cup: Nigeria In Group B With Morocco, Angola, Kenya The Nigeria Handball national team are in group B and will slug it out with Morocco, Angola and Kenya at the 2022 African Men Handball Championship slated to be hosted in Morocco. The competition also serves as African Qualifying Tournament For 2023 World Men Handball Championship in Poland. The Nigerian team will fancy their chances of qualifying out of the group but will face their biggest obstacle in Angola, whose best finish in the competition was third position in 2004 as well as 2016 and 2018 and they finished 4th in 2020 in Tunisia where Nigeria finished abysmally in 11th position. The hosts, Morocco’s best position in the Nations Cup was the third position finish in 2006, and they have steadily finished amongst the top 7 in the last five championships. Nigeria should have it easy against the Kenyans,who are seen as outsiders in the group.
