Handball: Nigeria Women Team Depart For Cameroon

Ahead of the African Women Handball championship, Nigeria senior women handball team has departed the country for Yaounde, Cameroon the host country of the championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Earlier in the week, the head coach of the team Rafiu Salami announced the final list of 16 players that will represent the country after undergoing intensive training at the Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonement, Abuja.
The team led by Dorathy Nyagh of Benue Queens and league best goalkeeper Toyin Yusuf departs the country on Friday morning for the championship which is slated for 6th of June.
Nigeria will play their first match against DR Congo then take on Kenya before slugging it out with host Cameroon.
