Heartland FC Commiserate With Rangers Over Ifeanyi Death

The management of Heartland Football Club of Owerri has commiserated with Rangers International of Enugu over the death of their striker, Ifeanyi George who died after involving in a fatal accident this morning.
The management in a statement expressed sadness over his death and wrote;
"The players, staff, Board and management of Heartland FC of Owerri hereby commiserate
with our Oriental brothers Enugu Rangers over the death of Ifeanyi George.
"Ifeanyi George , a striker for the flying antelopes was involved in a fatal accident which claimed the lives of the three occupants of the vehicle which include his friend and a member of Rangers reserve team.
"The players were travelling for the ten-days break approved by the management of the club as a result of the suspension of the Nigeria Professional Football League following the outbreak of the deadly Corona Virus pandemic.
"Ifeanyi's car colluded into a parked vehicle along Onitsha-Agbor- Benin road on Sunday with the deceased George piloting the trip.
In his reaction,The Chairman of the club Chief Barrister Charles Ezekwem expressed shock and sadness at the news while commiserating with Rangers over the painful loss .
"This is one death too many for all us in the football family in Nigeria, our thought and prayers are with Rangers and the family of the deceased in this time of grief"
Meanwhile, Heartland FC Of Owerri has approved a one week break for her players and technical crew in the light of the recent development in the country
