Heartland Queens To Battle Kwara Ladies In NWFL Championship Opener By Our Reporter Heartland Queens have been drawn to face Kwara Ladies in the opening match of the 2021 NWFL Championship commencing on Wednesday, June 23 at the Aguiyi Ironsi Sports Complex in Abuja. The testy and delicately poised encounter holds at 10am. The draw ceremony inside the NWFL boardroom office on Tuesday and presided over by the coordinator of the championship, Rt. Hon. Margaret Mwuese Icheen ably assisted by the NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Modupe Shabi and the FCT FA personnel will see Adamawa Queens confront Gallant Queens in the last matchday 1 encounters. Kaduna Queens did not put up presence and therefore considered automatically relegated to the third tier league, NWFL Nationwide and that leaves out one team to join the Kaduna side in the less fancied lower league at the end of the Championship.
