Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru scored the match winner for Galatasaray as they beat Goztepe 1-0 in a Turkey Super Lig fixture played on Sunday, August 19.
Onyekuru who completed a loan move from Everton to Galatasaray was included in the starting eleven by head coach Fatih Terim.
The 21-year-old forward scored what turned out to be the only goal of the encounter in the 42nd minute when he latched on to an assist by Fernando.
Despite chances falling both ways Galatasaray were unable to increase their lead in the encounter as they could not find the back of the net in the second half.
Onyekuru was left on the pitch for the whole 90 minute as he was a constant threat with his pace.
After the game he took to his official Twitter account to post a message about getting on the scoresheet.
He saiid, "Delighted to get on the score sheet, but more pleased with the victory! Thanks be to God."
Onyekuru is gradually settling down in Turkey after the move from England as he played 84 minute in their 3-1 victory over Ankaragucu in their opening game of the season and all 90 minutes this weekend.

His return to goal scoring form should see him receive a call up by Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr who has hinted that some stars to the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be dropped for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Seychelles on Saturday, September 8.
Onyekuru is expected to return with Galatasaray when they host Alanyaspor in their next league fixture scheduled for the Monday, August 27.
