Wale Ajibua set to join Tosin Fowobaje in Italy as Nigerian players go International By Admin It's good news for Nigerian Hockey family as Nigerian players go international. Just last week Tosin Fowobaje left the shores of the country for his Italy club, Hockey Team Uras, in the province of Oristano. The Nigeria International midfielder who played a key role as Team Oyo finished second at the just concluded National Sports Festival will continue his remarkable progress in Italy. Tosin will be playing his 4th season for the club having previously played for the Italian in the last three season. Versatile and young defender Wale Ajibua will also have the opportunity to impress the Italian outfit after he was called for a trial. Wale Ajibua a Nigerian International and one of the young talents that is rapidly taking over in the country will be hoping that his trial becomes a permanent move. Ajibua will become the latest Nigerian export to Italy if he impresses at the end of his three month trial. The Acting President of the Nigeria Hockey Federation, Engr. Simon Nkom wished Wale Success on behalf of the Board. Likewise, the Director Technical Prof Ediga Agbo as well as the Technical rep on the NHF board, Captain Fatai Atanda all congratulate the young man and wish him success. Tosin Fowobaje and Wale Ajibua represented Police Machine and Stallions respectively at the 2018 Nigeria Super League.
