How C.Ronaldo, Okocha's Prowess Influence My Style of Play - Babajide David

Omonia Nicosia star Babajide David has told Family United by Football (FUBF) a popular Sports Whatsapp Group in Nigeria that Former Super Eagles captain Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo both had great influence on his game, while growing up as a footballer in Nigeria.

The former Rosenborg winger further said he tried to emulate Jay-Jay Okocha prowess on the pitch, while modeling his game after Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

"Cristiano Ronaldo and Austin Jay-Jay Okocha has always been the players I cherish alot. At a point while growing up, I wanted to play from midfield because of the former PSG star.

"I grew up watching Ronaldo at Manchester United and really wanted to be like him, he has been my mentor and someone I look up to and model my game after, no wonder people say I play like him."

Ronaldo currently plays for Italian giants Juventus, while Austin Okocha quit professional Football in 2008. Both players are known to be quick, creative and confident on the ball, these qualities are what Babajide also possesses.

"I know I have Ronaldo and Okocha qualities and that's where I got my inspiration to become who I am today. I have to keeps working hard to achieve my dreams of playing for some of the biggest teams in the world. I am optimistic and won't relent."
