How Super Eagles Are Rated Against Uganda

An expert analyst and former Ocean boys, Kwara United midfielder, coach Yemi Olanrewaju popularly known as Yema takes a look at the performance of each player in Super Eagles friendly game against the Cranes of Uganda decided at the Stephen Keshi stadium on Tuesday, he wrote the piece for BSNSports.com.ng.
Daniel Akpeyi:
He is not really tested through out the game and was on public holiday as Nigerians are today.

Bryan Idowu:
He has an above average game and a good link up play with enterprising Samuel Chukwueze on the right side of the pitch except for two or three wrong passes.

Jamilu Collins:
What a great game for the kaduna-born defender had today. He ran the line very well with some smart moves and offensive play. Definitely something to build on in Eagles shirt.

Mikel Agu:
Arguably the man of the match today. The FC Porto midfielder was every where and was calm, comfortable in carrying out his duty in the middle of the park. 8/10
Semi Ajayi:
One of the contender for man of the match today. Solid 90 minutes and unwavering display by Rotterdam fc utility player.

John OGU:
He has a decent match at the center back when he paired with Semi Ajayi, he was later moved to the midfield in second half and didn't do much in the middle as Mikel Agu overshadowed him. 5/10
Oghenekharo Etebo:
Not one of the best performance in Super Eagles shirt but the Warri born player didnt do badly in his own state and played for just first half.

Samuel Chukwueze:
Undoubtedly the shining light of the first half of the game. He played as if he had been in Eagles for years. The talented Villarreal player was the best in the entire duration he played.

Victor Oshimeh:
The young attacker showed that he can lead eages attack in years to come. His present up there and movements were encouraging for 19 years old player. He could have scored if he was lucky with his header but the opposing keeper was lucky on two occasions.

Alex Iwobi
The Arsenal FC of England forward had another disappointing outing for Nigeria as he got almost all his moves and passes wrong. He was substituted in the 85th minutes of the match
Ahmed Musa:
The Super Eagles Captain didn't do badly and fought as leader could have scored but unlucky. He was replaced in the 70th minute.

Ekong:
The assistance Captain of the day had a solid game when he came on in the second half and cleared his line very well.

Samuel Kalu:
One of the brightest Nigeria talent presently. The Bordeaux of France winger was unmatchable and unmarkable all through the second half and suffered more than 10 fouls from the Ugandans who couldn't match his pace and skills.

Isaac Success:
The Watford foward has to convince Nigerians that he is super Eagles material. Another average show from him with enough fourty five minutes to show himself.

Henry Onyekuru:
Many believed he is not riped or ready for Eagles yet. He couldnt do much with little opportunity he had to show himself. He needs to do more if he has to stay in eagles.

Moses Simon:
Nigerians are happy to see him back in eagles since his injury woe that made him to missed the mundial. He showed some glimpses of his style by taking the Ugandans on and crosses some balls. His talent is not in doubt as he has proved himself in eagles shirt. He only needs to do more with competition from the young and enterprising Chukwueze and Kalu from the wings.
