Omonia Nicosia winger Babajide David, has described Super Eagles Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, as a true compatriot who helped him settle down well at the Cyprus champions club when he joined in January 2020.

The former Rosenborg player joined Omonia Nicosia on loan from Danish team Midtjylland after an impressive spell at Norwegian champions Rosenborg and had the privilege to team up with Francis Uzoho.

While answering questions from journalists on a top Sports Whatsapp Group, Family United by Football (FUBF), the former FC Ebedei player revealed how he has settled in Nicosia, thanks largely to Uzoho and other players.

"It took sometime for me to meet up with Francis Uzoho when I first came in to Cyprus, because he was out injured and recuperating," the former Rehoboth player told FUBF.

"I got to meet up with Uzoho later and he told me alot of things about the club. We communicates easily in pidgin english and he also told me about what the fans expect from me as a player. He was so supportive no doubt.

"I chose to come here because its a club with alot of ambition," Babajide added.

"They play in the Champions league and as an ambitious person, I really want to play and put in my best."
