I Am Well Received In Nigeria - IOC President

President, International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach has said that he was surprised with his reception at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The IOC president who arrived through a chartered flight was full of smiles when he was received by Association of National Olympic Committee of Africa, ANOCA, President, Mustapha Berraf, Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon Sunday Dare who led Federal government delegation, National Olympic Committee, NOC, President, Engineer Habu Gumel to mention but few.

Thomas Bach was entertained by cultural dancers and was amused to see them singing and dancing.

He said "I am happy to be in Nigeria and also surprised to see that i am well received by Nigerians.

Meanwhile, Bach was delayed by Nigerian immigration for not having Nigeria visa on his passport but the issue was sorted out by the government delegation.
