I Feel Honour, Proud To Join Juventus... Eniola Aluko

By Admin Nigerian-born British player Eniola Aluko has signed for Juventus Women team from Chelsea, the Italian side announced on Wednesday. She was the leading scorer of the 2016 FA WSL season with nine goals in 16 matches. Prior to joining Chelsea, Aluko played in the Women’s Professional Soccer league in the United States for St. Louis, Atlanta and Sky Blue FC. The striker has a long history with the England Women’s National Team, appearing in three World Cups and three Uefa Championships. She also represented team Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics. Aluko is part of a sporting family as her brother Sone Aluko has featured for the Super Eagles. Speaking with Juventus FC Tv which was posted on Juventus official twitter handle, Aluko said "After being at Chelsea for six years, i am really hungry for foreign experience, so when Juventus came calling i could not reject the offer. "I am happy to part of a new club with big name and ambition. I am incredibly impressed by the project at the club especially what they have done in women football. It is blessing to be here, i feel honour and proud. It is something i wanted to do for a long time." Aluko said in a two minutes five seconds short video."
