I Have Not Endorsed Pinnick led NFF Board - Dalung

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung on Monday in Abuja has said that he neither endorsed nor recognised the Amaju Pinnick led NFF Board, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dalung who made this known during an interview with journalists noted that his traveling with NFF to London does not translate to an endorsement of the board but solely for oversight as the minister of sports.

"As the minister of sports, it is my duty to supervise and administer parastatal under the ministry and that is what I did when I traveled with the NFF and should not be seen as an endorsement.

The minister insisted that in as much as the board held election despite an existing court order, then they remain 'illegal'.

"There is nothing like recognition, Amaju Pinnick led board election took place in view of an existing court order. So legality and illegality is a word you choose to apply." Dalung said.
