Onazi Hopes to Resume Action Soon, Play In The Nation Cup

Super Eagles and Trabzonspor midfielder, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi has promised his fans that he will be back to action soon and confident that he will also be part of the Super Eagles squad to the African Nations Cup in Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Onazi, 25, who sustained a rupture Achilles against Rizespor in December during Turkish league was seeing in Abuja on Thursday looking better and believes he will be part of the Eagles squad to the nations cup in June 2019.
The former Lazio midfielder was unhappy that injury stalled his excellent performance in the first round of the Turkish league.
"In football injury is prone to happen to a y player. Of course, the first round was one of my best and I really appreciate God. Unfortunately, I am injured. It is quite difficult for my team and it is a big blow on their face.
Onazi praised the president of the club, Ahmet Agaoglu for his encouragement and love during and after the successful surgery.
" I want to thank the president, Ahmet Agaoglu for standing by me before and after the surgery."
"He keeps encouraging me but I am really happy because that shows how important I am to the club. Though I am not happy that the second round will start without me being part of the squad but it is alright and I will back soon and possibly be part of the Super Eagles at the African Nations Cup in June." He concluded
