Ideye Announces Aris Thessaloniki Departure

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has officially announced his departure from his Greek Super league side Aris Thessaloniki.

Ideye who has also played for Olympiakos in the past, departed the club few weeks back unofficial, BSN Reports.

The star striker announced his departure via his social media handle and appreciates management, players and the fans.

"Thank you ARIS FC for giving me the chance to be a part of ARIS family, to all the ARIS fans thanks a lot for making me feel I’m home, God Bless” he said in a social media post.

The 32-year-old 2013 African cup of Nations winner under late coach Stephen Keshi made over 30 appearances for the club and scored 11 goals for them in all competitions.
