Ighalo Encourages Me To Join Watford - Dennis

Newly acquired Watford FC winger Emmanuel Dennis confirmed l it was former Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo who encouraged him to joining the premier league side, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The newly promoted club announced the Nigeria international on a 5-year deal from the Belgium Jupiler League side Club Brugge.
Dennis spent the second stanza of last season on loan with German Bundesliga side FC Koln .
While reacting to his move to the Vicarage Road, the speedy winger said he spoke to Ighalo about the move and the Al Shabab FC attacker inspired him over the move.
“I’m a big fan of him. I watched him play here and score a lot of goals,” he said.
“I played against him in the Europa League so I met him after the game, we spoke together, he’s an inspiration.
“I spoke to him when I was here too, on FaceTime. He said:
“I’m happy you’re here, you’re going to love it.
“The people are nice. Just play football, you’re going to enjoy yourself."
“He’s like a big brother. He scored a lot of goals for Nigeria so I’m very happy I became his friend," he said.
Dennis who made his debut for Nigeria's Super Eagles in an international friendly against Ukraine in 2019 is at home with the Hornets as he met Nigeria trio of Isaac Success, William Troost-Ekong and Tom Dele-Bashiru who are already with the team.
