Ighalo officially signs off National team

www.bsnsports.com.ng can reliably report that Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has officially announced his international retirement .
Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo in the early hours of Saturday confirmed the speculations that has been going around concerning his international future with the National team.
The Shanghai Shenhua striker scored 5 in the just concluded African Cup of Nations in Egypt and emerged highest goalscorer of the competition.
Ighalo who made his debut on March 26th 2015 against Cranes of Uganda in international friendly match under the tutelage of Coach Daniel Amokachi took his time to appreciate Nigeria Football Federation, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, players and Nigerians for their supports.
He was a member of U20 flying Eagles that played at FIFA U20 World cup in Egypt alongside Haruna Lukman, Dele Ajiboye etc
Former Watford striker who emerged top scorer in the qualifier of 2019 African Cup of Nations with 6 goals and competition with 5 goals scored 16 goals in 35 matches for Nigeria.
Before moving to Europe Ighalo played for Prime of Osogbo and Julius Berger of Lagos.
