Ighalo resume training with Shanghai Shenhua

Former Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo is close to full fitness after the completion of his treatment and rehabilitation, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

BSN reports that Ighalo sustained an hamstring injury at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt during the third place playoff involving Super Eagles and Tunisia.

Since sustaining the injury, Ighalo has been undergoing treatment in Barcelona, Spain before he finally returned to China few days back.

The former Watford striker finally resumed team training as he continues to work his way back to match fitness.

His resumption will be a good news for Shanghai Shenhua as the club continue to struggle at the relegation zone.

Before he sustained the injury, Ighalo has already scored 7 goals for the club.
