Ighalo Reverses Decision To Quit International Football

Highest goal scorer at the just concluded 2019 African Nations Cup, Odion Ighalo has rescinded his decision to call it quit for the Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The Super Eagles striker was reportedly decided to retire from playing for the Nigeria national team but report reaching www.bsnports.com.ng has it that the former Julius Berger FC striker has changed his mind when the Nigeria Football Federation, president Amaju Pinnick met him and appealed to him to reconsider his decision.

According to a seasoned journalist, Osasu Obayiuwana who wrote on his Tweeter that Jude Ighalo has considered coming back back to the national team.

Odion Jude Ighalo scored five goals at the just concluded 2019 African Nations Cup to win the tournament Highest Goal Scorer. He also scored six goals during the 2019 Nations Cup qualifiers to become the highest goal scorer.
