Ighalo Win Player Of The Month Award By Sampson Adedeji Former Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo continues to make headlines in the Saudi Arabia pro league with Al Shabab FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Ighalo joined the Arabian side during winter transfer window at the end of his contract with Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua. The former Manchester United player was announced as the player of the month for April and May after scoring in back to back games. Ighalo who announced his retirement from the Super Eagles in 2019, scored 9 goals and made 2 assist for Shabab FC. Al Shabab FC finished the season second on the log, four points adrift eventual winner Al Hilal who garnered 61 points in 30 matches.
