Ighalo's club coach Quieque Flores resigns

Following string of poor results the club coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo, at the Chinese Super league Shanghai Shenhua, Quieque Sanchez Flores has resigned his appointment, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Former Watford coach joined the club 7 months ago and approved the purchase of Ighalo from Changchun Yatai.

Shenhua has been going through a tough season which prompted fans of the club to rise against the coach.

He announced his resignation on Wednesday night and club confirmed through its social media handle.

He left Shenhua in 14th position with 12 points, one point above drop zone.
