Iheanacho Assist As Leicester Drop Points Against 10-Man Southampton By Oluwayemi Omolagba Iheanacho bags his sixth of the season to atone for his mistake that led to Southampton's penalty as Leicester played a 1-1 draw against the Saints, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Kelechi Iheanacho who played the entire duration alongside country-man, Wilfred Ndidi handed the ball in Leicester's penalty area in the 59th minutes and James Ward-Prowse converted the resulting penalty to give Southampton the lead and less than 10 minutes later assisted Jonny Evans for his team's equaliser. With the four games to the end of the season and with Champions League ticket in sight, it was a match Leicester needed to win in order to cement their space in the top four but Alex McCarthy for Southampton brilliantly denied Vardy with his right boot from close range towards the end of the match. The result means Leicester in third place with 63 points are five points ahead of Chelsea who have a game in hand while Southampton pull 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
