Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho was the hero on Sunday when his goal was all the Foxes needed to edge stubborn Everton FC at the King Power Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Brazilian star, Richalison had put the visitors ahead in the 21st minute before Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho's pass found the his team mate, Jamie Hardy who slotted into the net to level the scoreline in the 68th minute.

Iheanacho who came on from the bench in the 62nd minute to inspire his team to another home win was the hero as he contributed to the two goals that led to the former champions win.

Iheanacho scored the winner in the 90th minute to ensure that Everton left King Power stadium empty-handed.

With the win, Leicester City maintained their winning runs with 32 points in 14 matches.
