IHF Trophy: Nigeria U18 Women Team Face Togo Today By Niyi Busari Nigeria U18 Women national handball team will on Monday (today) play their first match against their Togolese counterparts in the International Handball Federation African Zone 3 World Cup qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The world cup qualification first stage, hosted by the Niger Republic will see four African countries fight for the tickets when they play each other at the Academie Des Arts stadium in Niamey.   The Nigeria team will play its first match against Togo at the Academie Des Arts stadium by 3:30 pm The four West African countries will lock horns to pick the sole ticket in the zone 3 world cup qualifiers before proceeding to the next round. Benin Republic, hosts, Niger Republic, Togo, and Nigeria are the only registered four West African nations at the U18 women handball tourney. At the same venue, the hosts, Niger Republic will play against Benin Republic later today which kicks off from 17:15 pm Nigeria will face Benin Republic in the second match on Tuesday and play their last match against the hosts on Wednesday. The overall winner in the championship will win a trophy as well as a ticket to the next phase of the world qualification.
