Ijebu Ode To Host NWFL Super Six

Organiser of Nigeria Women Football League ( NWFL) under Aisha Falode has announced Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode as the host city for the proposed Super 6, which will kick off on 19th and end on 25th of April, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The football body and representatives of clubs earlier in the week agreed to halt the league and use Super 6 to determine the league winners while play-off was also agreed to determine team that will be relegated.
After the final match day, six top teams will slug it out to determine the season's Champions. Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, FC Robo Queens and Sunshine Queens are currently the top six clubs on the log.
According to the fixture, Match-Day 1 is scheduled for Monday, April 19, 2021 with three matches.
The Match Day 2 is on Tuesday, April 20, also with three matches.
While Wednesday April 21 is Rest Day for all the six clubs. Match Day 3 is on Thursday, April 22, with three matches and Match Day 4 is on Friday, April 23 with three matches, leaving Saturday April 24 as the second rest day.
The Match Day 5 which is the final day will see the final rounds of the round robin that holds on Sunday April 25.
Winners of the Super 6 based on point garnered will represent Nigeria in the inaugural edition of the women CAF Champions League.
