Imama, Aigbogun, Manu 57 Others Apply For National Team Coach Jobs

Not less than 60 coaches have applied for the vacant positions of the national teams excluding that of Super Eagles held by German Gernot Rohr.

Nigeria Football Federation NFF disengaged the coaches after their contracts expired, citing poor performance of the teams as the reason.

According to newtelegraphng.com , coach Manu Garba, Paul Aigbogun and Imama Amapakabo have all applied to keep their jobs as coach of the Under-17, Under-20 and Under-23 respectively. Some of their assistants also applied. This time around the NFF will not be in charge of the recruitment as it has been handed over to a private firm who will screen the candidates before conducting an interview among the coaches for recommendations to the NFF.
