Imo State Govt Suspends Heartland FC General Manager

The Imo state government has suspended the acting General Manager of the Heartland FC, Ifeanyi Chukwudi, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The Imo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Dan Chike Ogu, announced the suspension in his office on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Dan Ogu in a memo signed by him, cited inexperience, concealing of vital information detrimental to the progress of the club, misappropriation and embezzlement of club fund without approval as well as insubordination to Heartland's board as reasons for the suspension.
The General Manager is directed to hand over all club materials in his custody immediately to the Secretary/legal Adviser within the next 48 hours.
Heartland FC is occupying 11th position on the Nigeria Professional Football League log with 26 points in 19 matches.
