Imperious Lagos Haven Maintain Perfect Start In The Rugby League By Our Reporter Lagos Haven made it a perfect five from five in the Southern Conference of the Nigeria Rugby League with yet another easy victory, this time against Lagos Rhinos at Eagles Square. The leaders who have been imperious throughout this season were comfortable in dispatching Rhinos 48-24 at the weekend. Daniel John scored three of Haven's tries with Precious John contributing 5 conversions. Kiki Stephen, Kingsley Okolie, Elijah Johnson, Kelvin Olisa and Lateef Jimoh Olamide also score tries for Haven. In the other week 6 fixture, Izu Nwaire starred as the Kings halted a run of two straight losses with a blowout of Lagos Broncos. Nwaire scored 4 tries and 6 conversions as Kings climbed to third in the table with a one-sided 54-22 beatdown of the Broncos. Sodiq Sakariyau added 2 tries for the Kings with Solomon Alonge, Temitope Tejuoso, Kehinde Atere and Olumide Akinremi also scoring tries. After six weeks of action, Haven lead the five-team Southern Conference with 10 points with Lagos Rhinos four points behind in second. Kings are third on 4 points while Eko Trinity who have a game in hand and Lagos Broncos are tied on 2 points apiece with Broncos bringing up the rear with a -104 points difference.
