In-form Iheanacho at the double as West Ham stun Leicester to move fourth

  Nigeria International Kelechi Iheanacho scored a brace as West Ham stunned Leicester City 3-2 to move fourth in the Premier League standings, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Hammers sat seventh going into the match, but a double from the Man United loanee and a Jarrod Bowen strike were enough to send them into the top four, with the visitors getting their goals courtesy of a Kelechi Iheanacho brace. The game was devoid of clear chances in the opening half-an-hour, with the hosts scoring with their first real attempt on goal. Vladimir Coufal spotted Lingard in a good position on the edge of the box and provided him with a nice pass, which the forward nicely rifled home into the bottom right corner for a 1-0 lead. With a minute to half-time, the hosts doubled their lead after Bowen showed great vision to find Lingardwith a cheeky pass inside the box, easily rolling the ball into an empty net for a 2-0 lead. The dominant Hammers then took a commanding 3-0 lead three minutes into the second half after Bowen found himself some space inside the box to get on the end of a Tomas Soucek pass and send his header into the back of the net. They thought they had added a fourth in the 54th minute when Issa Diop headed home a nicely lofted ball, but his effort was ruled out for offside. Marc Albrighton almost got a goal back for Leicester but his shot was easily saved by the goalkeeper. They however got their goal on the 70th minute as Ricardo Pereira teed up Iheanacho on the edge of the box and he fired the ball into the right side of the goal. Perreira was then denied in the 80th minute after nicely dribbling inside the box, but Lukasz Fabianski got off his line in time to collect the ball. Iheanacho then added a second for the visitors in the 91st minute after pouncing on a lose ball inside the box and easily beat the goalkeeper with a shot into the bottom left corner. The win saw West Ham move into fourth, a point behind Leicester and one above Chelsea in fifth.
