Injured National Team Player Cries For Help

Injured First Bank And National team players Nkem Akaraiwe has cried out for help regarding her injury she sustained when she was on the National team duty.

The player who lamented the neglection she has suffered for over 6 months saying " I am really saddened by the way the NBBF President Musa Kida has treated me, I sustained the injury playing for the federation in July and ever since I have not been attended to by the federation so you know how frustrating it us to serve your country and and to make it worse the Sport Minister Sunday Dare has approved money for my surgery but the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Olusade Adeshola has refused to give me the money to do the surgery in Dubai'

"The total surgery is in the region $20, 500 and i must appreciate Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for coming to my aid he has already given me 10,000$ when he heard I am from Delta State he just did that for me so I am grateful for his love for me'

Nkem who is emotionally disturbed said 'we have made arrangements for my surgery more than 3 times and yet we keep cancelling the trip and I just hope I can do it now so I can get back to the game I love to play' she concluded.
