Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast: NFF To Release 23-man Squad Today, Samson Tijani, Tobias Lawal In

The Nigeria Football Federation is expected to announce the release of the Super Eagles invited players for the double international friendly matches coming up next month, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Golden Eaglets captain, Samson Tijani and little known young Austrian player, Tobias Lawal are two new invitees who will join the squad in Austria camp.
According to former Super Eagles Media Officer, Colins, the head coach, Gernot Rohr has submitted the list to the federation who will later today make it public.
"In case you missed it, Gernot Rohr told me former under 17 captain Samson Tijani will be in his latest squad along with unknown young Austria junior international Tobias Lawal.
Squad should be released today by @thenff". Colins tweeted
The NFF on September 2nd announced friendly matches with Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia.
Gernot Rohr’s team will take on the Elephants on October 9 in Austria and will then face the Carthage Eagles at the same venue four days later.
Since defeating Lesotho 4-2 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at Maseru's Setsoto Stadium on November 17, 2019, the Super Eagles are yet to play a match in 2020 owing to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, the federation has unveiled the new kits for the Nigeria national teams which will be worn from 2020 to 2022.
