International Friendly: Djamel Belmadi releases 24-man squad list against Super Eagles

By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the international friendly match against Nigeria's Super Eagles, the head coach of Desert Warriors of Algeria Djamel Belmadi has released the list of 24 Players that will squeal up against Super Eagles of Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nigeria was scheduled to play Elephant of Coted'ivoire before they were replaced with Current African champion Algeria. The soft spoken coach released the list of players that will prosecute the match on Sunday with the inclusion of some new players. However, their squad is familiar with Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez and Yacine Brahimi, Sofiane Feghouli who have been called up. . The veteran coach has included three new invitees in his selection which include: Reda Halaimia (Beerschot), Mehdi Zerkane ( Girondin Bordeaux) and Jalil Mahdioub (Tondela). The match will give Super Eagles an opportunity to avenge the defeat suffered in the hand of Desert Foxes at the last African Cup Of Nations in Egypt. The match is slated for 9th of October at Jacques Lemans Arena (St. Veit an der Glan) without the presence of the public (behind closed doors).
