Ahead of the Nigeria's Super Eagles second international friendly match Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, the duo of defender William Troost Ekong and winger Samuel Kalu has opted out of the match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Both of them were in action in the last match against Desert Warriors of Algeria with Ekong playing the whole duration while Kalu was subbed off.
Ekong was allow to return back to his club Watford FC due to their championship match coming up this weekend while Kalu was released due to the knock he suffered in the last match.
”Kalu was allowed to leave the camp and return to his club because of the knock he got in the game against Algeria.
“For Troost-Ekong he was permitted to go because he just joined a new club and they have a game on Friday so they want him to train with his team ahead of the game.
“So with these two players out we will have the chance to see new players for the game," Toyin Ibitoye the team media officer told Brila FM.
