With two days in camp, Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa is already eyeing a good result against El Tri of Mexico, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
Players were invited to the camp of the Nigeria senior men's football team last weekend and the camp was open on Wednesday with over 20 players on ground during the first training session.
Heartland FC goaltender who is also part of the A-team under Gernot Rohr was also part of the players that resumed training early
While speaking, Ezenwa explained his duties of making other players know the reasons they were invited to the national team and why they must put in their best.
"We look forward to the game against Mexico in Los Angeles. I believe we are here and our coming is a privilege to represent over 200 millions Nigerians and we have to give our best in the game."
"It's not easy bringing the players together as a captain, some are coming for the first time and we just have to give them positive vibes and also let them understand why they are here.
"This is not club side football but national team where you represent your state and country, I just have to let them know it," he said.
Ezenwa was part of the Nigeria's Super Eagles team to 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt and was in goal against Madagascar in the last group game.
