  International Friendly: Guinea, Gambia Match Cancelled Due To Coronavirus By Sampson Adedeji The reports coming from Guinea indicated that the proposed match against Gambia slated for Tuesday has been cancelled due to more players that contracting Coronavirus, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The country soccer federation confirmed on Monday morning that they have less 11 Players available for the match. “Indeed, with several players tested positive (for coronavirus, note) and cases of injury, the Syli National now has a workforce of less than 11 players available, including a single goalkeeper. This does not allow the Guinean selection to play this friendly match against Gambia. “We only have nine suitable players at our disposal,” the Syli National Team Manager, Aly Kader Touré , said. Another information stated that the players refused to play simply because of match bonuses and allowances row that erupted in the team camp last weekend. Guinea defeated Cape Verde 2-1 in their first friendly match on Saturday.
