The qualifiers for 2022 FIFA World Cup was earlier scheduled to kick start in June but was postponed due some reasons and international friendly organised instead. Three time African champions was slated to play Cameroon in Austria and head coach of Nigeria, Gernot Rohr, rolled out list of 24 players that will prosecute the match . According to the reports a quite number of invited players have decided to pull out of the game owing to injuries. “We had nine defenders in list. He was in Paris to see a doctor, for surgery perhaps but not for the moment. (Tyronne) Ebuehi sent us a message with a medical attestation that he cannot make it.
