By Sampson Adedeji
Ahead of the much awaited international friendly match against Desert Foxes of Algeria, Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, is already talking tough, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The two team will come face to face on Friday at the Worthersee stadium in Klagenfurt in Austria with Algeria hoping to protect its record.
The Franco-German gaffer said during a presser on Thursday afternoon that they expect a tough match because Algeria remained one of the best football nation in the continent.
"We want to stop them, we hope so. They are a strong team in Africa, the champions, it will be a big test for us.," he said.
He further stated that new players will be given opportunity to express themselves in the upcoming games.
"It's a test game, we want to see our new players. The objective is to prepare for AFCON and the World Cup," he added.
Apart from Algeria, Nigeria's Super Eagles will also face Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on 13th of October in Austria.
