By Sampson Adedeji

After playing a 2-2 draw with Ukraine in an international friendly in September, Nigeria's Super Eagles will face former World Champion Selecao of Brazil in another proposed international friendly match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

BSN reports that the Nigeria Football Federation has promised to make use of all the FIFA calendar and make Super Eagles in order to be in shape for the upcoming 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers and 2022 FIFA world cup qualifiers.

The match against Brazil has been fixed for 13th of October at the National Stadium of Singapore and before playing Nigeria, the Selecao will first confront Africa top Teranga Lion of Senegal on 10th of October at the same venue.

It will only be the second major squad match against the Brazilians . The first was in 2003, with a 3-0 Brazilian victory in Abuja, the Nigeria capital. Gil, Luís Fabiano and Adriano scored the goals of the triumph.

Under coach Tite, Brazil faced only one African team. In November 2018, with a goal from Richarlison, defeated Cameroon. The match was held in Milton Keynes, England, and marked the season's end for the team.
