Istifanus Confident Team FCT Will Shine At 2021 National Youth Games By Niyi Busari The acting Director of Sports in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Istifanus Luka has expressed the readiness of his athletes to dominate at the forthcoming National Youth Games in Ilorin. This year’s edition of the National Youth Games will hold on October 10-19 at the Ilorin township stadium. Istifanus during an exclusive interview with BSN Sports in his office at the FCT Sports Department, the acting Director of Sports said Team FCT who will compete in 18 games and will travel for the tournament on Sunday adding that everything is in place to make FCT athletes excel at National Youth Games. He said athletes that will represent the FCT are strong contender for honours as he hopes they performed better than their 2019 performances. "We will start the close camping on Thursday after two months of open camping preparations for the Games." FCT will hope to do well at the Games because the games will qualify for are those that we are strong contenders in winning medals. Team FCT will travel on Sunday for 2021 National Youth Games. " Team FCT in 2019 edition of the tournament finished 11th on the final medals table winning 22 medals which comprised of; 4 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze.
