It Is Too Early To Rate Rangers, Lobi Stars - Salihu Abubakar By Niyi Busari Chief Operation Officer of League Management Company, LMC, Salihu Abubakar has said that it is too early to rate Nigeria representative in the CAF champions league, Lobi stars and Aiteo Cup champions, Rangers International based on their results in their first intercontinental matches, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Salihu Abubakar who made this statement on Thursday in Abuja added that it is usual for home teams to win and away clubs lose in African football, therefore one cannot use Rangers International 2-0 win over Defense Force SC at home and Lobi Stars 0-1 away loss to USM De Loum of Cameroon as an indication to rate them as they still have many matches ahead of them. He however, admitted that Rangers International do not have enough preparatory friendly games ahead of their match against Defense Force in Nigeria adding that there is no small football country in Africa. "It is too early to rate the two Nigerian clubs in the continent because this is their first match and in the preliminary stage and of course in Africa, the home team win while away team always lose. Though Ranger don't have enough preparatory friendly likeLobi stars that have a lot of warm matches before their first game. Meanwhile, there is no small country in African football again." He said
