'It Will Be A Great Honour If I Am Invited To Super Eagles' - Efe Ambrose

Derby County defender, Efe Ambrose has said that he will be glad and will prove his worth if he is invited back to the Nigeria senior national team, BSN Sports can report.
After missing out in the Nigeria's Super Eagles for some time, defender Efe Ambrose is already eyeing return to the team.
Ambrose who has just joined the English Championship Derby County revealed his intention to return to the Super Eagles while speaking to www.bsnsports.com.ng
According to him, "For me, if am given the opportunity to come back to the national team, it will be a great honour and privilege for me.
"To me, merit is what really count and if you can add to improve the team and bring something different into the team, i think such player deserve to be invited.
"I have played in the team and with some guys and I know my ability and capabilities and i know we all have our difference and gift.
"We also have our struggles and I believe if the coach give the opportunity, I will make use of it and will not disappoint my fans.
"I can play in different position for the team and I can score goals and defend well and also bring stability into the team.
"I have good speed, composed and also a team player, I want to play for the team in a way that I can really help the team and to really play to the tactical aspect of the coach," he said
Former Kaduna United player was part of the Nigeria's Super Eagles team that lifted 2013 AFCON in South Africa.
