Despite not scoring, the head coach of Italia Serie A side Napoli Gennaro Gattuso has heaped praises on Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for his amazing contributions in the match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Napoli on Sunday night continue its good run in the new season with 6-0 spanking of Genoa with Nigeria Striker given his first start.

Despite the resounding victory, the coach was not too happy and believe the team must improve in every area.

He further said he was pleased with Osimhen Performance in the encounter.

“We were lacking a player like Osimhen who could attack the space, so again today he didn’t score, but he created the situations that allowed others to score.

His teammates are always seeking him out, so we’re very pleased with the way he is helping out," he stated.

Osimhen played the whole durations of the game and was booked in the 91st minute for foul play.
