ITTF Championship: Egypt Dominates Nigeria Again

The hope of Nigeria table tennis teams to wrestle the African crown from its rival Egypt has become a mirage as the North Africa country claimed the titles again,

For the past few days countries has gathered in Yaounde Cameroon competing for honors in the championship but the game everyone was waiting for was final team game involving Nigeria and Egypt.
It was the female team that first tangoed in the final but the Egyptian women's team led by Dina Meshref did enough to record a commanding 3-0 win over the Nigeria side led by Funke Oshunaike.

The men's final game draws a lot of attention as two of Africa's finest table tennis players Omar Assa and Nigeria's Aruna Quadri were both in action.
Egypt raced to a 2-0 lead before Germany's based Quadri rallied back and leveled the game 2-2.
Egypt won the last game and clinched the title with a 3-2 win.
The results meant Egypt has won the championship 13 times.
