Brazil's Gustavo Tsuboi halted Nigeria dominance by beating Omotayo Olajide 4-0 ( 12-10, 12-10, 11-8, 11-6). Women's single Doo Hooi Keem proved too much for Edem Offiong as she defeated her 4-0 (11-3, 11-5, 11-2, 11-4). Meanwhile, bounced back strongly in the mixed doubles as the duo of Abiodun and Edem gifted Nigeria victory over Gonzalez and his pair 3-2 (11-9, 1-11, 11-6, 12-10, 11-4).
