  Ivorian Anouma  Set To Contest For CAF Presidency By Sampson Adedeji As the deadline date for declaration get closer, Ivorian Football stakeholder Jacques Anouma has signified his intention to run for the position of Confederation of African Football Association ( CAF) president, BSNSports.com.ng can reports . Few months back, Africa soccer governing body urged stakeholders who have intention of running for any office of the body to make it known before the middle of November. CAF incumbent president, Ahmad Ahmad and few others have registered their intention to run for office in the coming election. But Anouma on Saturday announced his intention after consulting and getting approval from his football federation. Anouma show intention of running in 2012 but was denied the opportunity by then president Issa Hayatou. The election is slated for March 2021.
