Ivory Coast Striker, Kalou, Bags Degree

It was a joyous day for former Cote d'Ivoire and Chelsea striker, Salomon Kalou, as he completed his degree program in Business administration at the Lyon, University, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Kalou who was born in Oumé began his career in local club Mimosas before moving to Europe. He signed for Feyenoord in 2003 and in 2004, he was loaned to Feyenoord's "satellite club", Excelsior.

He previously played for Feyenoord from 2003 to 2006 and Chelsea from 2006 to 2012.

While at Chelsea, he won numerous honours, including the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, four FA Cups and the League Cup.

He moved to Lille on a free transfer in July 2012 upon the expiry of his contract at Chelsea, where he spent two seasons before moving to Hertha for an undisclosed fee.

He put in for the degree program in 2017 and was among the graduands that was awarded on Saturday in France.

He currently play in the Brazilian league for Botafogo where he has scored once in two matches.
