Iwobi introduce Nigeria to me - Billing

Just as Nigeria's Super Eagles are getting ready to face Selecao of Brazil, Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing has said that Everton FC player Alex Iwobi discussed playing for Nigeria with him.

Iwobi alongside, Balogun, Ekong, Ebuehi, Aina are among players who switched their allegiance to play for Nigeria after representing other countries in which they grew up.

Former Huddersfield player confirmed that he hasn't have concrete discussions on switching his allegiance with anyone.

  "It wasn't until when (Bournemouth) were going to play against Everton a couple of weeks ago when Iwobi asked if I might be interested in coming and playing for Nigeria.

He said the coach had asked me. It was the first time I heard anything concrete myself," he said.

Since leaving the Terrier for Vitality Stadium, Billing has been a key player for Bournemouth.
