It was an interesting afternoon at the Godison Park as VAR intervention ensured Everton salvage a point in the Merseyside derby, BSNSports.com.ng
Sadio Mane opened the scoring with a beautiful strike in the 3rd minutes before Micheal Keane equalised for Everton with an Header in the 19th minute as the first half ended in a 1 all draw.
Mohamed Salah capitalise on Yari Mina's poor clearing attempt to put Liverpool in the lead for the second time in the afternoon before Dominic Calvert-Lewin heads Everton level on the 81st minute.
Richarlison got sent off on the 90th minute after commiting a serious foul.
Liverpool taught they've won it when Henderson's shot scrambled into the net in the second minute of additional time only to be denied by the VAR after Sadio Mane was caught in an offside position in the build up to the goal.
Meanwhile Nigerian Alex Iwobi replaced Abdoulaye Doucoure in the 78th minutes and did win a free kick for Everton in the 6th minute of additional time when he was brought down around the 18 yard box after dribbling past his markers with resulting free kick headed straight at Liverpool goal keeper Adrian.
