  Jalla Calls For Reform of NFF Statute Ahead 2022 Elections By Niyi Busari Chairman, Board of Trustee of Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, Harrison Jalla has called for the reform and restructure of the Nigeria Football Federation statute ahead of the 2022 elections. Jalla in a statement made available to BSN Sports reads; "2022 NFF Elections is around the corner. It is imperative for a total reform, complete restructure, and review of the NFF so-called 2010 statutes to incorporate relevant constituencies particularly the professional footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN). The era of continuing with the NFF Congress as an exclusive preserve of the 36 states chairmen plus the FCT is over. The Amaju Pinnick two term era is an eye opener to the aberration of making the NFF Congress an exclusive preserve of the states Football Association chairmen. Amaju Pinnick has the unenviable record as the first NFF president that failed to qualify the Super Eagles back to back for two consecutive nations Cup but was re-elected as the NFF president in 2018. "Pinnick bought over the mainstream media in Nigeria, deprived the age grade National teams of their match win bonus and camp allowances, killed all the domestic leagues in Nigeria but got elected into the FIFA Council. The Nigeria sporting media used to be one of the most vibrant in the world, nobody would have attempted all these nonsence and go scot-free in the past. The records are there for all to see. As we speak the states Football Association chairmen are busy repositioning themselves to present another candidate as the NFF president from their CLUB 37. The Federal government through the office of the Honourable minister of sports and youth development must wake up from its slumber and take the gauntlet. "Nigeria Football must go back to the ACT 2004 with a Congress of 101 members. The future of Nigeria Football is in hands of the galaxy of stars in the 1994/1998 golden era.
